Montreal, Quebec – YMK Films has officially announced the upcoming production of Prayer Montreal, the newest episode in the Prayer International Series, a globally inspired cinematic project that highlights spiritual journeys from cities around the world. The episode is scheduled to be filmed in Montreal, Quebec, in mid-April, as part of an ongoing commitment to showcase diverse cultural narratives through faith-centered storytelling.

Prayer Montreal will be produced in collaboration with Montreal-based production company Pirolo Media. The casting process is currently underway, seeking a bilingual (French and English) female actor aged 20–40 of any background.

Since its inception, the Prayer International Series has featured stories from more than 19 cities across five continents, including Istanbul, Rome, Seoul, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Recent episodes include Prayer Panama, Prayer Marseille, and Prayer Petrópolis, which have received recognition at international festivals including Die Seriale in Germany.

The most recent installment, Prayer on the Border, was filmed in Mission and McAllen, Texas, as well as Nuevo Progreso, Mexico. The episode is now available for streaming on YouTube and continues the series’ tradition of exploring themes of faith, hope, and resilience across different cultures.

Each episode is shot using mobile phone technology and presented in a vertical cinema format to create an immersive, modern viewing experience. The series has gained praise for its innovative approach to low-budget filmmaking and its collaboration with local production teams and talent in each featured city.

Recently,  Prayer International Series’ three episodes combining Rio, Panama, and Petrópolis were selected for Die Seriale 2025 in Germany, further solidifying the series’ international acclaim.

Future episodes are planned for Las Vegas, Monterrey (Mexico), and La Palma, Michoacán (Mexico). Monterrey is a confirmed host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while La Palma is recognized for its religious significance, notably a legendary rock said to bear the image of Jesus. This episode will be produced with Alma Castaneda Productions.
